ABOUT

Johanna Kraft is a German photographer whose work and life have taken her around the globe. She is currently based in Chicago. 

At the heart of Johanna's work is the connection between humans and nature. She credits her years living in Sweden, the beauty of Scandinavian nature, the culture and way of living, as well as the extraordinary light of the north, with having had tremendous influence on her work. 

Johanna's work has been exhibited in solo and group shows nationally and internationally and published in magazines. Her images have been part of several editions of "BLICKFANG - Deutschlands beste Fotografen" (BLICKFANG - Germany's best photographers).

She has been an adjunct professor of photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg, Germany, since 2014.
